High end kitchen renovation

Arbutus Renovation

This house underwent an extensive renovation. First off, we tackled some structural changes, removing interior walls between the kitchen and living room to open up the space.

The windows got a serious upgrade – triple-pane throughout the main floor. We were able to capitilize on the government grants and increase overall energy efficiency.

The ceiling in the main floor were completely redone. We revamped the lighting layout and added a lot more LED pot lights.

We removed the dated tile flooring and went to a new level with large format modern tiles. We also installed heated floors in the kitchen and hallways - no more chilly feet on those cold mornings.

We were able to breath new life into the old hardwood floors in the dining room and living room by sanding them back and refinishing them.

The kitchen underwent a major transformation, first a whole new redesign and then we built and installed new cabinets and countertops. Seeing a kitchen go from dated to functional and stylish is always a satisfying part of the job.

Exterior-wise, we switched things up, we removed the old cedar siding and went with hardie siding. It's durable, low-maintenance, and gives the house a fresh look.

The patio got some upgrades as well with new slider doors and a refinished deck. Some others upgrades were made throughout the house including some new interior doors, plumbing upgrades, a new guardrail and fireplace hearth as well as new paint throughout the main floor.

It's always rewarding to see a project come together and elevate the overall quality of a home.
